Senior Security Officer

Key Duties

• Assist and liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Attend courteously to visitors’ enquiries regarding the building and surrounding areas.
• Manage and control the key press and key management system.
• Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system effectively.
• Operate and respond to the security alarm system and alerts.
• Conduct security surveillance from the command centre and monitor site activities.
• Provide secondary support during incidents and emergency responses.
• Regulate and manage traffic flow and crowd control around the assigned premises.
• Enforce security procedures and site rules consistently.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and shift handover notes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Security Industry.
• Valid security licence/training (as required by local regulations).
• Familiar with CCTV, alarm monitoring, access control, and command centre operations.
• Able to remain calm and act decisively during incidents and emergencies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and respond quickly when required.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and system operations.
