Key Duties
- Supervise, guide, and support Security Officers in their daily duties.
- Ensure all officers are familiar with the site layout, facilities, and emergency points.
- Maintain accurate daily records, logs, and shift handover reports.
- Conduct regular patrols, spot checks, and performance monitoring of officers and premises.
- Manage, coordinate, and guide Security Officers in handling all incidents correctly according to SOPs.
- Conduct emergency response drills and train officers on correct emergency procedures.
- Carry out basic investigations and interviews related to site incidents when required.
- Perform daily safety and physical hazard inspections of the premises.
- Monitor CCTV and fire alarm systems and ensure officers are trained to use them properly.
- Assist visitors, employees, and occupants during emergencies and incidents.
- Gather information, prepare incident reports, and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Handle disputes, misunderstandings, and complaints professionally in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Escort and manage unwelcome or unauthorised persons from the premises when necessary.
- Assist management in training, onboarding, and deployment of officers and relief staff.
- Motivate, coach, and support Security Officers to maintain high morale and performance standards.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, occupants, authorities, and internal teams.
- Support teamwork and alignment towards common operational goals.
- Conduct basic safety and security risk assessments at site.
- Ensure all security equipment is visually inspected and properly handed over and taken over at each shift change.
- Liaise with police, emergency services, and relevant authorities when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Security Industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid security licence/certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Good understanding of security operations, SOPs, emergency response, and risk management.
- Experience with CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control, and incident reporting.
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure.
- Good report writing and basic computer skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Physically fit and able to conduct patrols and respond to incidents.
- Willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays if required.
