Business Development Manager – Security Solutions (Physical Security & Video Analytics)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, residential, and public-sector markets.
• Drive growth within existing accounts while expanding into new verticals and customer segments.
• Work closely with internal technical, engineering, and operations teams to design and propose integrated security solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Sell a full suite of security solutions including physical security systems, CCTV, video analytics, AI-driven monitoring, and managed security services.
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, operational challenges, and industry trends to position the company as a trusted advisor.
• Establish, maintain, and grow long-term profitable relationships with end-users, consultants, developers, MCSTs, system integrators, and channel partners.
• Provide thought leadership in all customer engagements, advising on best practices, emerging technologies, and future-ready security strategies.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological developments to identify new opportunities and risks.
• Present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives to management.
• Represent the company at conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and industry events.
Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the security industry, preferably covering physical security systems, CCTV, access control, and/or video analytics.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the security, technology, or systems integration space.
• Strong understanding of security technologies, industry standards, and market trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong presentation and documentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across technical, operations, and management teams.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders including building owners, consultants, and C-level executives.
• Singaporean / PR preferred.
